Wolf Events - Have They Folded?

Hey, folks,


I have some wonderful memories of these cons, but I'm a bit puzzled by their website. It's still advertising a con that took place two years ago!

Does anyone know what's happened? Have they changed their name, or just moved on to other things? Either way, it would be nice if they updated their site to let people know!

it seems to be the case they **** down. Forums are closed. Usually if they moved on to another site or a new name they would post it on their home page.

Yes, I thought as much. It's such a shame, but I'm also frustrated that nothing's been said on their site. There were a lot of people who supported these cons - I suppose I'm being a bit naive to think that would be acknowledged on the site before they closed it down.

Ah well, I'm heading for my first Chevron con at the end of May, and can't wait!!

Wolf Events...
I attended a few of their Conventions. Especially their Stargate events. My last being 'Gateway to Sanctuary' back in 2011.

The people who used to run these events now help run the MCM EXPO and MCM ComicCons
around the UK.

Ooooh, so they're still running fan events, even if not organizing cons?!? Hm, I wonder if they might start the cons up again at some point!

Wolf Events were instrumental in getting back into fandom... And attending Cons.

Well, if I remember rightly, there's another Expo coming up soon. If I see Bryan, I'll have to ask him about the cons.
