Are there any conventions in The Netherlands (or Belgium) which also include special guest appearances and such?

I heard last year their was a general movie convention in Gent where Elisabeth Weir showed up.

Yes the FACTS convention in Gent in Belgium. There have been a couple of Stargate acteors every year on FACTS. Don S. Davis, Corin Nemec, Cliff Simon, Paul McGillion, Morenna Baccarin, Christopher Judge and Torri Higginson.

There were also a couple of other actors like Kevin Sorbo, Dirk Benedict, Carisma Carpenter, ...

I dont know any conventions in the Netherlands.
