I can't decide what I wanna eat at Earl's?! Too many choices! It makes my head spin and at the end I have no idea what to eat anymore! Sometimes less is more. mmh, I probably will end up with some simple and basic food- no suprises and I know what I will get. So... one more look at the menu then I read enough about food and I have to check my fridge again if I can find there anything close resembling the delicious sounding menues at Earl's. There's a chance I will get disappointed

It is supposed to be someone from SG1, likely a producer from what I'm told. I bought a book with two autographs in it. One is from Beau Bridges and the other I don't recognize.

I think I have the same signatures in my book and don't know who it is either. I had showed it to Darren one year and he didn't recognize it and he told me to email him but I forgot to so never found out who it belonged to. And no one else has manage to figure it out that I've showed them to either. I guess this will remain a mystery unless anyone can identify it here.

Creation will accept Canadian money(cash), but if you pay with a credit card, you'll be charged the conversion fee.

Oh good. Nice to know. Conversion with credit cards sucks.

FYI for all you who are visiting and want good conversion rates, Vancouver Bullion and Currency Exchange is pretty much the best place around.

There is a branch seconds away from the southernmost Canada Line skytrain stop (which, unfortunately, is the opposite direction from downtown, but is only about 15min from the airport)

If you duplicate it, then we all get to find out who it is. I have search my collection and it doesn't seem familier.
Having more than one autograph of someone is sometimes not a bad thing. You may be able to trade it.

I must admit though i am dying to find out who's it is now.

I'd recommend bringing your book to the dinner on Thursday night. Then ask Joe Mallozzi. If he doesn't know then you are screwed.

Official Final GateWorld Dinner Sign-Up

Earl's -- 4361 Kingsway (just around the block from the hotel)

It's officially time to start planning for what will (sadly) be the final official GateWorld dinner in Vancouver. Our home for the past several years (Sammy J Peppers) closed their doors, so I was tasked with finding a new and last home for us that was nearby and could accomodate all of us. It wasn't an easy job.

Prices for menu items are mostly comparable to previous years. Attending the dinner does not mean you HAVE to eat. The potential size of this year's group -- between forum members, special guests (some are con guests, some are NOT), and Stargate crew -- means that eating may need to be staggered no matter how we do it. Rest assured though, between the spacious lounge area we'll have, the cast and crew drop-ins I'm setting up, potential prize giveaways and the later closing time (11pm)...we're all going to make this final dinner one not to forget.

To sign up, simply reply to this post, add your forum name in the appropriate area, and remove the quote tags. It's as simple as that. Please also indicate if you plan on bringing guests (+1, +2, etc.). Extra guests are fine, but only forum members can win any potential prizes we giveaway.

Finally, Earl's has stated that giving them a menu list of our choices is unnecessary. However, as an aid to both them and us, we're doing it anyway. After reviewing the menu off their site, please PM mamasue9 with your items. She'll be keeping tabs over the next 10 weeks.

Can't wait to see all of you in Stargate's hometown one final time!
