Robert Picardo in Australia - Sep 18-20

Robert Picardo is the first guest to be announced for the massive gaming/entertainment convention to be held in Brisbane, Australia September 18-20

The announcement was made by Twitter and isn't up on the website yet but I'm sure it'll be there soon.

I'm very excited by this - Robert Picardo is awesome!

GenCon is a gamming convention franchise. I go to the one in Indianapolis Indiana every August (in two days from now...yyeeeh!) and while the primary focus is gamming, they often have some guests that they invite as well. One year they had one of the cast of BSG there. I think they usually invite a couple of guests from TV shows, primarily Sci-fi.

So I'm not sure how many others they will get there

According to the twitter there are at least two other guests to be announced. Doubt they'll be Stargate related though.... guess we'll find out soon!

Ah cool!!

About time too . I looked at their website on the weekend and wondered when/if they were going to announce guests (yup, distinct lack of patience here atm).

It's only on the other side of the CBD from my work...wonder how many workmates I'll be able to spot there?!?!
