Sure!
SakuraCon is a North West American Anime convention in Seattle ( http://www.sakuracon.org ). Lately it has been expanding into other topics like music, gaming, sci fi and all around nerdiness.
I was given permission to host a Stargate panel to bring fans out of the shadows and together for an hour and a half to make new friends, share stories and discuss new/old topics from the shows. I gave out cupcakes to people who got up to share.
It was a fairly simple, but successful panel, but I have been requested to host it again next year.
I also made a note to mention GateWorld. Many attendees told me they were either already members or would become one very soon.
