Check out the tutorials over in Beya you guys and if you'd like to share one of your own, just PM and I'll give you a date when you can post your tutorial on a JT arwork. I'd love for you guys to participate. Sci, you let me know when you are ready to do one for Gimp, okay? Better be soon, though. Just kidding hon, whenever you are ready. Spiritcoda and Ladygris have done some AMAZING tuts!

Just look for the tag for tutorials and you'll find all of them. I'm also going to work on the monthly newsletter this weekend and will post the link here, too.

        HAPPY EASTER!

Here's my latest tut and artwork.

Thought I'd share a tut for how I made my current sig.

            I used Photoshop Elements.

            Spoiler:

I started with a white background layer.

            Then added this texture:

I create a duplicate layer and flipped it horizontally. Then resized and positioned it to fit.

I combined the two layers to form a single layer (Ctrl+E). I used the blur tool to make the line down the center a little less obvious.

I decided to change the coloring to blue by using the Hue/Saturation dialog (Crtl+U) and checking the "Colorize" box and then adjusting the sliders until I had the shade I was happy with.

I added this layer mask and set to screen.

I resized and positioned these two pictures to fit the smaller squares on the right, and set to soft light at 85% opacity. And placed beneath the mask layer.

Then I cut out Sam and Jack from these two pics, resized them and positioned them to my satisfaction. Then I set the blend mode to luminosity at 75% and placed them beneath the mask layer.

            I then add the text.

"For as long as I draw breath" is in TypoUpright BT, color #852c00, 30 pt, with a soft glow layer effect.

"You I'll Trust" is in Lithos Pro, color #a55b39, 18 pt.

            That's it. Enjoy!
