The first time we saw replicators they were Purple.

I got the color wrong. (Waaayyyy too pink) But they were definetly purple.

"Asgard"-technology-originated Replicators are a shade of purple.

...the odd D-shaped stargate.

I bet you could get away with making the event horizon in the "C". Although it's not a completely enclosed letter it would be a lot rounder than the "D".
