    Trailer Music

I just got an assignment from my graphic design/media production class to make a trailer for something. So I'm choosing stargate atlantis. Anyone have any ideas for the music I could use in the video? Something trailer music-y no rap or really anything with lyrics.

Try "Immediate Music", they make music specifically for trailers.

But for their actual music collection...you'll need to search elsewhere, if you know what I mean.

Immediate Music is the industry standard for trailers and TV spots. It is not available to the general public. I suggest anything by the Chemical Brothers, particularly "Music: Response." It's from their album 'Surrender'.

No talk of illegal downloading, please and thank you

Sorry if this sounds dumb, but what does that mean? My brain isn't processing too well right now.

Basically a movie or a TV show will go to them and ask the various composers there to come up with music fitting their trailers.

Also try music from E.S. Posthumus. Trailers use their music alot too.
