I got my first vid done!! Yea, I'm excited. But, it ended up being huge-22 MB I believe, but here's the summary.

Title: "Falling Down" by Avril Lavigne
Pairing: Sam and Jack (You do see Kerry and Pete, but only for a little bit.)
Summary: A collection (at least, the best I could muster) of Sam and Jack
Spoilers: Well, pretty much Threads, Moebius 2, Window of Opportunity, Into the Fire, Lost City, Grace, Small Victories

I have it on my computer but don't know where to upload something that big...if you have any suggestions you can just let me know!

I just watched your vid 'The REAL Reason'... That was cool!

Lol...well, I've had the odd problem, but all in all it's a lot more stable than WWM2, and even though some of the same effects aren't available, I've been able to find/create the ones I normally use, so I'm happy so far (and what I can do with some of those effects is superior to the other program, too). And whatever makes me not have to create a couple dozen source files beforehand is also a plus!

Thanks for the comments on the vid - think that's one of my best vids, but then again, I do love explosions (particularly the outstanding ones on Gate), and 3 whole minutes of it set to themes from The Rock is just fun.

I have to jump in here to say, The Real Reason really impressed me, Jamieson. Your timing is phenomenal. Every time I watch it, I'm left saying, "How on Earth did she *do* that?" I don't think I've ever seen a vid that matched so many explosions so perfectly to the music, with hardly a single beat without an explosion of some sort.

Now, if you could just get the screen resolutions to match... (Sorry, pet peeve showing)

I'm looking forward to your next one, though. As good as you are right now, I'm expecting fantastic things from you in the future.

Iget my clips from my collection of DVD's although I admit my Lost City Vid came from my attempt of geting it from Sky One live! I rip them using DVD decrupter and then conver them to files I can use in WMM using XMPEG!

Thanks Bri! I've seen some of yours (not nearly enough, apparently - I'll have to go on an AlphaSite binge when I get some time!), and coming from you that means a lot, I can't believe some of your vids (in particular, I *love* Eight Years On - I just can't help but smile every time I hear that song, even if I'm not watching the vid itself).

And as for the resolutions...yep, guilty as charged. When I made that vid I didn't have the sources/resources that I do now, nor the techincal know-how to fix it...and even now I'm still lacking. Learning as I go, though! At some point I would like to go back over all my vids and fix them up (provided I can ever find time).

Hmm...I've never encountered that problem...what format is the music file you want to use in? You could try getting a program to convert music files (they're all over the place, with free trials or simply free, depends on what you want), and attempt to change it into a different format, might solve that problem (just make sure it's a format WWM will recognize).
