Funny how this thread always comes back to booze .... and chocolate. There is a great video out there of Stargate to the Angry Worms song about rocks and trees and trees and rocks ... and water. Someone needs to write words to the Gabit Thread song about booze and chocolate and chocolate and booze ... and Amanda.

I don't get so much of the lake effect snow, being somewhat in the middle Um...I think it comes from the arctic?

I guess I shouldn't mention small heat wave we are having here. Mid to upper 80's in the valley (that's about 30 C) for the rest of the week.

Just popping in to say that I have officially purchased my ticket, booked a room and have a roomie!!! So it's all exciting for me. Well you know...as exciting as it gets!!

Yay. Got my ticket confirmation through the other day! Still gotta book a room for me & Mum... will probably do that tonight. The hotel is lovely and well priced for being a 4* and so close to London & Heathrow!

Still got everything crossed for Charmed passes!

No, you should NOT! Currently we are at MINUS 38 C with the winchill. On the bright side, the forecast was -46 C so I guess we're lucky. By Sunday, it will be plus 2 C. That's a 40 degree swing in four days! If variety is the spice of life, we sure got spice.

At least bring booze with that news

We're currently at 9 F (-13 C). Supposed to be colder by Friday. I hope you're not walking to work right now.
