GABIT attendees thread

For those of you who have booked the convention rate... it was generally valid for friday saturday and sunday nights. The rate was Including VAT ( the only sales/ hotel tax we have) and Breakfast so you can eat the buffet on Saturday sunday and MONDAY mornings if you are staying all three nights.

It may be best to check with reception when you check in just to clarify especailly if you have got a different rate for some nights.

Good advice Becks. Will do when I get in on Weds. (I remember feeling like such a fool last time when peeps told me "oh yeah I had the buffet Friday morning -no cost" when I had just done early morning cereal, a banana, and nibbled on trail mix until the evening cocktail party... by which time I was starving!)

(And then Monday morning when I asked the checkout clerk in the buffet area {before we went in} if the meal was still included and was told no..... - but then roomie was leaving and I'd booked an extra night at a non-con rate, so I can kinda understand, in a way, that whatever your deal was for that evening would affect your breakfast that morning.)

I figure I was very productive today.

I did that last night. I agree - very productive!
(so says the one taking a break from being scholastically productive, but whom must return to said productiveness very, very soon...)

Also there are no seat 2's in rows A-E or B1, or D1 ( We take then out to give extra space for wheelchairs.)

The No row I is because it's confusing on the name badges.... and No1Son does the name badges and it annoys him if there is a row I.

I'm not quite sure how much of this is you guys taking the mickey and how much is genuine! LOL.

Hopefully this is a little more accurate - not in terms of seat spacing, but in terms of seat existence - and it also has Mark on it!
