I passed both courses (one with honours and a strong recommendation to continue with that specialism - yay!) ... and have a couple of weeks before my next term begins

So imagine my horror when driving home from work tonight and the tears started flowing whole I was thinking about the impending trip...I'm not sure whether it was the excitement factor or the idea that I'm gonna miss my hubby and kids.

This countdown is starting to scare me. We all got excited when we hit the 365 day (one year) mark, but totally skipped the 265 day mark and we're already past the 165 day mark...how quick will the 65 day mark come?? Head is spinning at how fast it is approaching!
I was chatting with our chemical rep yesterday about the impending flight over and told her that I had been watching vids on YT about plane crashes and mishaps and all I kept saying to her was that I was going to have to keep reminding the captain/pilot to check the flaps!! I said that I would right a note and pass it to the stewardess to give to the captain/pilot with a list of all the things to check that have been proven to cause plane disasters. Be buggered if I'm going to be a statistic. I have plans!!

Time is so weird. On the one hand it seems to be flying by. And sometimes with other things it will just crawl ... *sigh*

I don't have everything arranged yet for AT4. Got the ticket and made reservations at the Ren. That's it. Will have to see about plane ticket and touristy things ... later lol. It's still over 5 months away. But yeah ... it seems like yesterday that we were all happy there even was going to be an AT4!

And about planes ... it's much more likely to get hit by a car when going to the airport than something happening to the plane. Lol. Maybe you should not be watching YT plane crash movies

I'm just trying to not think about how steadily closer November is creeping... a good and much anticipated creep, mind, but still ... gah!!!

Planes are way safer than cars. I've yet to have a plane try to drive through me when I'm going round a roundabout on my bicycle and the pilot suddenly realises he/she meant to come off at this exit. *mutters*
