Well I'm one step closer to finalizing plans for this years trip. Booked my flight tonight. Now I need to get a new suitcase and carry on - my carry-on died at Comic Con last year and the suitcase well I guess after 15 years and 30+ countries it is time to retire it as well since the latches don't stay closed anymore.

How long are you staying this time? I seem to recall someone saying that you did AT2 in a long weekend. Or am I thinking of the wrong person?

For AT2 I flew in on Friday and left on Monday. This time I will be flying in on Wednesday afternoon late and leaving on Monday morning. Working with roomie on how much of London can we take in Wednesday after I arrive and Thursday. I will get off the plane ready to go. I want to get to Ronnie Scott's either Wednesday or Thursday evening.

sue and i are coming in early, spending time in nottingham iwth a friend of hers, then down to the hotel for the con, then home. we figure it made more sense to 'finish' near heathrow than move 3 times
