Suggestion : We all meet up at approx 6pm, so we can go straight in to order and eat.We need to keep the times as sharp as possible,as there will be another Private Party of 200 coming in at 8 pm.Much as I hate to rush meals,we can chill out afterwards .

Psst ... may I share a secret? Some of us are con virgins and have never been to any ...

It seems that many of you coming to GABIT are veterans at this sort of thing ... so would you care to share:

a) your most memorable moment at a con? What made it stand out so vividly?

b) what did you take away from the entire con experience? What makes you keep going to these things?

c) any common-sense recommendations for those of us so new to all this? I have read the "etiquette rules" elsewhere but would like to hear from this special group of AT fans too.

wow that is one big glass .... that would topple me over. I would not only turn red in the face but very tipsy as well. I want to remember every moment of our little get together. Take alot of pic. Bond for that evening. And remember the evening for a lifetime.

Oh,dear ! I meant a Sherry Schooner for Rune's Diet Coke. (That's a much smaller glass than the one Bev posted,gatebee .)
My Mum used to have sherry at Christmas,but she never used to fill a pint glass with the stuff .

I would call that...um...a sherry glass! Hmmm...I quite enjoy a wee sherry myself.
I want to remember every moment too, so we must take lots and lots of pictures. I've dug out my camera and the spare batteries, so maybe I should start packing now, just incase I missplace them.
