Thank you Klig, for continuing the daily reminder while MAL was away.....um, think I should make my hotel and airline reservations? I'm such a procrastinator......

*grins* Ahhhh, but Lida... you're not the only procrastinator! The only thing I've done so far is my con ticket and I bought that back in January! I've yet to figure out a rough itinerary so that I can figure how many days to be at each hotel (I'll end my stay at the Ren, but want to be closer or in to central London for the days before it to try to play tourist for a bit.) And deciding on that will decide my plane ticket dates (because yes... I fly the cheapest ticket I can get....)....

I have this sneaking feeling that I'll have the Vancouver con's flight/hotel details worked out before London's. (And as Mal and Kliggs keep reminding us... those days are just zipping by!!!!!) But... my plan is to have things finalized by the end of this month. That way I can just spend the next two months obsessing about what to bring, what to wear and to with the hair!

I don't know I've already booked my my hotel room and purchased airfare and now I'm all worried about the terrorist issues that are going on. As much as I really want to see AT and RDA in London, I'm a very poor flier on a good day. I'm starting to get really cold feet about the trip. Maybe I should have been more of a procrastinator?

No Kat. You'll do fine. The only thing I can see at this point is just a way longer wait at the airport for screening. Airflight is still much safer than us getting in our cars each day. The only real concern I have is my nice new camera. I *don't* want to put it in my checked luggage for lots of reasons... damage, theft, lost luggage.... I hope they can get that part of the carry on issue worked out before November.
