So glad more of you guys are getting tickets YAY! Can't wait to see everyone!

Add me to the babysitting Milou list too , I can push her around the hotel in her pram/stroller if she's fussy (yes I can drive my wheelchair and push a pram ) Although like Sky says she might not like being passed about.

        Hey!

Just for the benefit of the newbies, my online name is a play on the stereotype that Canadians say "eh" a lot. "Eh" is pronounced like the letter "a". Therfore it is also a play on Amanda's initials, AT. Hence EH-T. Just so you know AT5 is also EH-T3.

both children were pretty well behaved or their parents took speedy steps to remove them from the room if they were having fussy moments. (and i remember telling them to not bring the kidlets into the room on saturday, we were showing a documentary on sea sheppard and....well it wasn't the prettiest thing ever - viewer discretion advised - and not something for little ones, much less some adults. (it showed graphic images of animals being slaughtered, not something many wish to view)

I'm sure things will be fine with Milou. In fact, I think my biggest concern would be keeping her away from con crud and having to tell potential baby sitters no because sometimes it can be upsetting to an infant to be in too many arms.
Hilarious when RDA went to one of the babies in the back and put the mike in front of her so we could all hear the cooing.

A good way to go about keeping some of the germs away from baby - keep some hand sanitizer close and require it's use before babysitting duty or even picking her up I was going to suggest pinning it to her, but then she'd probably end up chewing on it

So, how early is early to start plotting out excursions outside the con weekend?

The 'Jack the Ripper Walk' came up again. Just saying.

That was a much younger baby that belonged to a couple who were Sea Shepherd crew.

It's never too early! I'm already trying to decide how long to be in London for... I'm probably going to take the overnight Tuesday from NYC, but not sure when to go home.

i've been giving that a lot of thought too. i thought of driving to wales for a few days, but, i'm not sure i can do the "drive on the other side of the road" thing. AND, someone told me that there is more likely to be snow in feb. than there was in nov. , so that may not be a good plan. i spent 2 days zooming around london at AT4 and had a blast. it wasn't terribly cold, but did rain most of the 1st day. the cab ride from the Ren to london and back was pretty costly. at least it didn't cost as much as renting a handicap accessible vehicle which was about $150/day + taxes, insurance and gas. maybe i'll just bring my winter coat this time and taxi my way to london again. this time i could see the insides of places, like westminster abby, tower of london and some museums. ya think it would be too cold to go to the zoo? i remember seeing a pamphlet on tours going to stonehenge. i should look into that.
