Why couldn't we have Teyla, Ronon, and Rodney off-world in this episode with Shep and Carson? To me, what's the real point of bringing back Carson if he doesn't get to interact with his friends, because one of my favourite parts of his character is his relationships with them. It just seems rather ... stupid to me.
Was it just to flaunt the female team? To make Carson and Shep act like a pair of frat boys? That was so out of character for Carson. Like, my boy does not do that, clone or not. Stop. Messing. With my characters.
Was it just to kill someone? Show how dark and risky they could be? Was it because McKay, Teyla and Ronon aren't hot enough? Do they not appeal to the male adolescent demographic?
Just ... why?
