The Genii don't make sense

I wonder do the Genii know that Atlantis has major ships at their disposal that could wipe out their very existence? Find their hiding spots, beam a naquada nuke and see them run then not long... BOOOOOOOOOOOOM! I like to see how the Genii will counter that fire power.

Very easily.

Atlantis doesn't have "major ships at their disposal". They have the Daedalus, which is not around half the time, and the Apollo, which shows up even more rarely. Any of these two ships can destroy any single Genii encampment... assuming they can find it, which is going to be tricky. Two ships, a whole galaxy to cover, and any possible intelligence on the location of Genii bases can only come from the Pegasus natives. If the natives are allied with the Genii, there is no way for Atlantis to destroy the Genii.

They could use Asgard technology to extract information from people's minds. Sure it's unethical but if they're going to be blowing up Genii bases, they might as well go all out.
