Anyway, sorry for OT.
Once I read really cool fan fiction about Christmas in Atlantis. It was made very believeable and there was no problem with Teyla, Ronon or others who don´t celebrate Xmas. But I think if authors should do Xmas story, it would be something like "problems find us even on Christmas Eve". But I think there could be some cute confusion, where Americans have gifts in the morning and for example Zelenka (as Czech) would get his in the evening how is it done here Hmm, I think I will try to write a story again...
It could be cool to see something like that in one episode, thought.Last edited by Klenotka; 10 June 2008, 12:27 PM.

Originally posted by jenks View PostNo, I suggest you do. Most countries have their own santa-like character, they're not all the same and most have different names. Santa is really just a US and Canada thing, and to a lesser extent the UK, but he's usually called Father Christmas over here.

I am from country, where we really don´t have Santa (and many of us are sick from constant invasion of Santas from US movies and shows)and I should read history? You do it Or you thought that whole planet has some version of someone, who brings gifts to kids?

We did get around to breaking Martin’s story today. The place-holder title, Snow Globe, lasted all of one day. It looks like, instead, we’ll be going with Rob Cooper’s suggestion: Brain Storm.
Gonna have to change the title of the thread!

Santa as he appears in Canada and the US is almost wholly the creation of the Coca-Cola Corporation.
How's that for corporate power?
On Topic: Brain Storm!!
Sounds ominous."Prepare to meet your DOOM."
