Well I watch a lot of TV from around the world and major holidays and events seem to always screw with shows and networks..
I dont think this is any different in that aspect.. the network needs to get advertisers willing to pay for the air time.. no US advertiser in their right mind would fork over money on the biggest travel next to Christmas and the biggest shopping day of the year to put Ads on a show that will get a vastly lower viewer count than the rest of the year..
point being.. its not erratic.. its smart business..
