I think that's the idea and personally have no problem with that as long as the plots don't mimic B5.

The enemy looks like Kromagg from Sliders to me... would also fit with that traveling to alternate realitys to me.

For now, anyway. But, we do have statements from TPTB that they may bring them back because they liked them so much.

Really? Interesting, well I hope they give a bit of backstory on them this episode and perhaps if we get a season 6 then they get to appear again.

I thought the new enemy looked almost like a wraith and replicator hybrid type creature. Their technology looked like a cross between wraith and replicator tech, and I thought parts of their faces had similarities to the wraith king that Ronon fought in Sateda.
