I don't see any rush in the decision being made and released like it was for S4 so I'm not expecting to hear anything about S6 until at least August maybe September... but it is SCI-FI so I have no delusions about the possibility of October

The network gave the greenight to a bunch of pilots, a few series, and one a couple of mini-series. Honestly half of them will likely fail. They have a sure thing with Atlantis and they know that.

When Atlantis was renewed for a 5th season. His words were, Atlantis become a hit on it's own, and shows every sign of matching it's sibling longevity. Well I dunno about 10 seasons, but a good 7 or 8 sounds reasonable.
