I don't think anybody is complaining harshly - just pointing out that some stuff has already been seen. It's a common tactic of SciFi to well, not put together the best ads. Don't worry, in a month or so we'll see completely new ads giving away entire plots (for which SciFi is famous)

Putting the end of The Kindred I in the promo was the dumbest thing I've ever seen... Should have at least only let us hear his voice for a second or two so we'd go "Huh, was that who I thought it was? Nah, it can't be." vs ZOMG! It's CARSON!!!!!!!

Yup, worst ad ever. Give away the very end of the episode in the ad. but then they did that with SG1 when the show was on. Only way to avoid it is to NOT watch the 'next week's' epsiode, and avoid SciFi the rest of the week to avoid tripping over ads.

I'm going with my original theory. SciFi added prophets to make it sound cooler to the average channal surfer.

I didn't really get that feeling from JM's response.
It wouldn't be the first time Scifi twisted things on purpose.
