You'll be happy to know they are adding new writers to the show.

Shame they couldnt have done that with SGA... its the writers who drove the show into the ground IMO.... not that I plan on watching SGU but hopefully it's more of an ensemble cast and no favourites or only writing for their fav character... the lack of Teyla and Ronon and the complete wasted potential of their leading man in season five just boggles the mind....

They did. they added Alan McCullogh who wrote some excellent eps in Season 4 and 5. I just think when M&M write eps it is a hit or miss. I agree about Ronon, but Teyla had 4 good eps this season focused on her character. Plus. Sheppard has always been the lead and in the center of everything, where he should be.

Yeah I'm guessing the movie will air during the SGU mid-season, I'm sure someone else said that was most likely when it would be as well. If that's the case and SGU premieres in the summer (like S5 did) then the mid-season break will happen around October.
