Rewatching The Daedalus Variations. There's something about it that just makes me want to watch it over and over. Maybe it's the relative novelty of a good 'ole space adventure episode that attracts me. I miss those.

'Daedalus Variations' is an awesome episode, easily one of the best stand alone adventures of the series.

It's fantastic! The character interactions, the story, everything. If I didn't love Hewlett so much and therefore The Shrine, I'd pick this to be my favourite episode of the season. We need more of these.

Yep. Don't get me wrong, I like when TPTB attempt the expansive story arcs and character development episodes, but it seems like this season in particular has been a little devoid of the classic stargate-type episodes.
