I watching Season 5 of SG-1 right now, Meridian is a very sad episode

Yup, SG1 had alot of emotional aswell as story depth over the series...

I think the worst doctor was Dr. Lam.

Lam never really had a chance to develop and what development we got was alway connected to Landry...

I liked Dr Lam but I think she should have had some development aside from being the general's daughter ...but I did like some of that side story.

The reason she never got proprer development is because in mid-season 9 Lexia Doig got pregnant and didn't return until late season 10. I think she would have gotten better development if she had been around the whole of S9 and 10.

I liked Dr Lam but I think she should have had some development aside from being the general's daughter ...but I did like some of that side story.

Agreed though her pregnancy with Michael's baby kinda impacted her availability.

it's not that I didn't like the character. however I thought it was a bad idea to make her the General's daughter. it reminded me of B5 and the Sheridan/Lochley relationship which was also stupid imo. why do these guys have to be related??? anyway... there are four (more or less) important doctors in the SG franchise:

1) Frasier
2) Carson
3) Keller
4) Lam
