Think about it. Every great episode is going to make us wonder why they are cancelling Atlantis when it is still successful.

I've already been thinking that and the mid season will no doubt add to it, once 'First Contact' airs there will only be 10 episodes left as well.

Because it's likely going to be one of the best episodes for Atlantis to date, and we have to still deal with the fact that this is the last season and this show should not be getting cancelled.

To credit Alan, his first episode was in Season 4 and he already wrote 3 of my favorite eps. M&M, well what can I say, they are good show runners, but the writing department, I dunno.

I have to agree. M&M are the worst writers. Gero is really good for those good plot episodes while Binder has a real talent for characters

Alan is good for writing eps with plot twists and whatnot. I agree with the other things you said also.

they are predicting 1.3 million viewers for First Contact, I would sure hope there will be more than that, because seriously. I wonder does the poll conducted by Sci Fi actually count the people who dl it illegally because I am sure there will be heaps of them ( I am NOT one of those people) I buy my dvds, but I do tape the show and watch it on the weekends on the Sci Fi channel.

If they did count them then that would be about 3-5 million people dl in total imo.

Who is predicting 1.3 Million viewers? First off no episode this season has drawn under 1.5 Million viewers for Live.
