Within two-three years they'll either get tired of that show, or they will finally realise it's TOO expensive...

If they start at expensive, it's only gonna get worse, right?

For some people, undoubtedly.

For me, not so. I never had a problem with Larrin.

Definitely. The Canadian dollar rising against the U.S. dollar, the U.S. economy in recession at the moment--I would be very surprised if the show lasted even as long as SGA. In fact, I'd forecast maybe a 2 year life span.

A lot of sites are now pointing at MGM. Someone even said that the only person to lose out on this is well besides the fans, is SCI FI. They were making money on the show from the way it sounds.

That's the problem. I betcha they announce SGU any week now. Which means casting, and then likely production in the winter for a summer release.

I hadn't thought of that. wow I can only imagine the reaction of the fans if they announce SGU next week

"Enemy at the Gate" is on 19th December, so does that mean that the script is about written already, and that it will be shot really soon, too?

1) the amount of people who'll watch it on telly

2) only of the people who will, after the episodes air, still actually get it on DVD, too? Before even season 5 comes out in a box?

If they pick number 2, then there could be the 'why' there will be no more Atlantis movies, possibly? Or what?

Well from what Brad Wright has said. It is supposed to have a really huge budget and they are going all out with this one. Still sucks that SGA was scrapped to make room for this.

I am not convinced just yet.

By cancelling SGA this soon, they might have put some money aside for a second season, already?

Idiots... They said it was very expensive, where do they think they'll suddenly get the money to finance it, if they can't even do that for SGA?

Oh yeah, that's right. They'll make movies for us to go buy. Think about it:

Children of the Gods Part 1 and 2 (and the 3 final eps of season 1): 15.99 €

Or better: The Ark Of Truth: 15.99 €

A newer Stargate Atlantis box: maybe 36.99 €

Let us buy 2 episodes for 15.99 €, or 20 episodes for 36.99 €...

Hmm, which one would get MGM more money? Exactly. The movies straight to DVD.

They are just trying to milk the final bits out of us before the entire franchise goes down.

Give Atlantis a decent enemy, kinda like you did with the Ori... Then you have a good new direction for your show, if you're clever enough to see it.
