I love Joe M's blog. He has answered a lot of my questions, and as reassured a lot of troubled situations. He does get into his "Food for Thought" which is fine, it is his blog.

My biggest concern is if the Carson number of eps will increase. I really hope so.

I think a very strong season opener will be important for Season 5. They also need to keep the eps interesting. If they can follow Season 4 but maybe have less stand alone eps in the middle, it should be fine. I think with the new enemy and the on-going Wraith treats, there will be plenty of stories going on with the show.

Agreed. There is still so much potential in this show to last at least 3-4 more seasons.
