Question peeps. Can Scifi cancel the order of s5 if the ratings are really really low. Like Painkiller Jane low. I know network shows cancel new shows after just 3 episodes sometimes if the ratings are bad. Can they do that with SGA?

Jasper Carrott (Especially when he jams with Tony Iommi)
New Torchwood (It can't be worse than old Torchwood)
I'd even watch EastEnders if I was desperate enough

Apparently, Skiffy has nothing else to air, but I guess anything is possible, especially if SGA dives bellow 1.0.

They can. Most of these contracts have out clauses.

SciFi renewed Farscape for two years. There was a big announcement about it going into their Season 4. But, before the 2nd year would have started, they used an out clause and canceled it. Fans were stunned and never saw it coming.

Production on Fox's midseason drama "New Amsterdam" has been shut down indefinitely.

With seven episodes of supernatural drama in the can, the network's executives have decided to take a look and decide whether to order additional segments, something considered unlikely.
