I asked first seriously though who would mention Vala and why? most people (this includes Keller) don't even know her and Shep, Rodney etc have only seen her once. there'd be no need to think of her

So it was cut, that makes sense. They only reference I got that could be that was the Zelenka comment. i.e it was hard to be in an enclosed space with him cos she likes him, and like the SamJackship would be inappropriate to pursuer.
