The Reunion Pre-airing discussion/speculation thread spoilers
THAT would be the best reunion ever.... as long as Ken C or Carl Binder wrote, and Ken C is off the writing staff as they had to make room for SG1 people to come on board, alas.
"We need to hire our friends first, that's the professional thing to do! So instead of keeping the good new writer with fresh ideas for the series, let's fire him! Cause' you know - can't pay all of you now!"
Without making another episode involving any of the Atlantis' current actors / actresses, I must consider other possibilities for this episode:
Spoiler:
1) Reunion with Ford
As someone has mentioned in other threads, the lack of allies in SGA brings little hope that we could depend on someone to back us up when we are in need of help. I don't believe that the Genii are fully helpful allies, and so I consider them more of a mutal trading partner, thats it.
I thinkt hat a reunion with Ford could be it, it could also mean that Ford's Lost Guys, could be powerful against other wraiths, including Michael.
2) Reunion with Wraith vs. Ashurans
Remember in progeny that the Ashurans were going to attack the Wraith, but do it on their own time and own way. Maybe Reunion has something to do with the Ashurans attacking the Wraith.
3) Maybe another Michael episode
Maybe this episode is a follow up to Vengence where Michael reunites with the Wraith, but instead of being an underling, rather he attacks other wraiths. Know whos.
Thoughts?
The word "reunion" has positive/neutral connotation, so it would have to do with two former associates/allies. Having an ep with Ford would be really cool
Never, never, never believe any war will be smooth or easy... ... or that any man can measure the tides and hurricanes he will
encounter on the strange journey.
Spoiler:
2 Cor. 10:3-5
3 For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war after the flesh:
4 (For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds; )
5 Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ;
JM was asked in his blog if there was a chance that Sheppard and the wraith from CG would cross paths. He said 'signs point to yes'. Now that would be a cool Reunion.
(He also said in answer to a different question that CJ would have a cameo in Reunion, which would make sense of that line is his New Years Poem: "Carter arrives; a reunion of sorts". There's be a reunion between Carter and Teal'c, and reunion between Sheppard and CG!Wraith)
I'm pretty sure JM also revealed that Ronon would get to showmore of his specialist skills in Reunion. Woo, I'm really looking forward to this ep now!

Not so much of a reunion with Carter; Teal'c's only in a cameo appearance in Reunion. Probably a farewell.
