Is Keller a vital part of the expedition?

No I don't think so. Keller's character has brought nothing of vital interest to the show IMO. I think she would have been better as a recurring character. maybe if her character didn't come off as so wimpy (for lack of a better word!) I could like her better.

My vote was no. Her character is the weakest on the show and the least believable. Though the expedition DOES need a CMO, they need a believable and competant one in the form of someone other than Keller.
