I think the reason Daniel isn't still itching to get back to Atlantis is that he's still dealing with the Ori stuff, which is after all, his fault. Once that's taken care of, he'll probably want to go back.

Well it would be nice to see Daniel in an episode or two but I don't think there is much chance. MS is more than likely going to be far too busy to fit it in.
I really do think that the time has come for the cast to move on, ten years is a heck of a time to be on a show.sigpic
Jack and Daniel...the old married couple.

Answer: Will let you know once his deal has been closed.
I think Michael Shanks (Daniel) will cross-over. JM mentioned earlier that we won't see Mithcell, Jack or Vala in season 4."I was hoping for another day. Looks like we just got a whole lot more than that. Let's not waste it."

Also, I don't think it's Danny since JM has also said that, IF there is a story for him, and Michael is available, he'll be welcomed back. Sounds to me like that hasn't happened yet.

After all do you know of any of Earths Military forces that would allow a Military base to be placed under the direct day to day command of a civilian, let alone a civilian that has never held high office within the Military, in a time of war?
Answer none that I can think of.

It would be amazing if Daniel went to Atlantis again;-) I really enjoyed the episode "The Pegasus Project", Daniel just belongs in Atlantis. It's probably his nirvana anyway...
So I keep my fingers crossed for the appearance of our favorite doctor.sigpic

However strictly speaking, in military matters Weir has little authority, this isn't something new either from the get go the Military were in charge of military matters. In season one Shepperd differed to her out of respect and in season two Weir had the full support of the IOA so she was able to influence military matters (having Sheperd promoted to Lt. Colonel for example). However as the IOA's trust in her erroded so did her influence with the military.sigpic
