One thing the Asuran storyline gives us that it took the Wraith two years to establish that I enjoy is a recurring villain. The core Wraith race is just too impersonal to keep me interested any longer, I know the writers wanted to establish the "they come keep coming" element, but it just got boring. I'd prefer to see more of Michael and Oberoth in season 4.

Also realistically speaking apart from numbers, they're not much of a force in the galaxy anymore. Earth has superior technology now, the Asurans could step in and destroy them anytime if they felt the need, and Michael has created a race that would defeat them in any physical scenario.

True, but the Wraith's biggest advantage was in numbers, something that the Asurans can have PLENTY of.

True but the Asurans did say they would attack the wraith in their own time and seeing as the wraith havnt even attempted to attack the asurans not that i believe it would cause them many problems i think the asruans would just leave the wraith be until they deal with us, it would be the logical way to go.

I really hope season 4 goes onto the Lantean/Wraith conflict deeper because throughout the show we see more and more the amazing things they did, and it continues to become less possible IMO for them to have been defeated.

                Spoiler:
I would love to see us use our uber weapons from "Unending" on the wraith for an all out-war and try to beat them only to get bogged down in huge stalemates.

1 asgarded ship can't take out 200 hive ships all at once. Imagine that battle.

It would be great if AGAIN Sheppard that wraith again have to work together in defeating a common enemy, Sheppard would probably say something like 'ITS YOU' or something, rodney would probably wont reconise that wraith, he would probably say 'Which wraith, theres so many i cant tell them apart', now that will be funny

It would be interesting to see how they play it. The wraith are clearly capable of indivduality but in the first couple of season , this was really never featured. I would really like to find out more about the Wraith as a culture as as at present we know very little about them beyond "they keep coming".

Also Im sure the Wraith have better technology then we have seen they took down the ancients. Wieght of numbers can not have been the only factor in there victory.

Indeed ^^^^^ We know according to the ancients the Wraith supposedly riveled their power. The Wraith ships we see today aren't even dedicated warship they're harvesters and colony ships with big guns straped on. I'm sure the Wraith could build something more powerful
Robert Jastrow (self-proclaimed agnostic): "For the scientist who has lived by his faith in the power of reason, the story ends like a bad dream. He has scaled the mountains of ignorance; he is about to conquer the highest peak; as he pulls himself over the final rock, he is greeted by a band of theologians who have been sitting there for centuries."

Well....I think the cruisers were built for pretty much combat/escort duty exclusively. As far as powers rivaling the Ancients go, I think mind control was the type of thing they were referencing with the term.

I want to see a Asgard Ship in the PG.

For Wraith, hunger burns like a fire.

Tell me, Sheppard, if you found yourself burning alive, would you settle for just one drop of water ...

....... or would you take more?
