Yes, Aiyana couldn't heal herself. Her body could keep her from developing symptoms, but she was still a carrier.

And I forgot that they left because they were dying because of the plague. It would make no sense at all to leave ANYONE (besides infected people) behind >_>'.

I just re-watched the episode. You're right. She and that man were apparentely in the "outpost". Then a puddle jumper swung by to pick him up and then Atlantis lifted off.

Maybe they left Ayanna there because she was nr1, she was the last one with the virus and she couldn't be healed or so and the others had a precausion so they didn't get infected, they weren't at the stage of having the cure and the healthy ones left for the Pegasus galaxy.

Just an idea
