Hmm I wonder what the extent of this "hacking" was. Did he mean he just understood the way their stuff worked now, he stole some info and poked around in some places he wasn't supposed to be or he did something else. Have to wait and see I guess.

Either way he's going to have to get unglued from that wall before he does anything else.

They didn't even search Ronon. He's got knives all over himself and who knows what nifty tricks he can do?

That's true and I wondered the same thing. Then I remember I wondered at the end of the 'The Hive' if ever got his knives back. But over all Iknow what you mean.

You know I'm telling you the more and more I see the show the more and more I see wholes. The way you see the SGA team is resourceful makes you wonder what those hive ships were thinking. And when you start pcking up on stray terms or thoughts you realize the SGA team are not completely screwed and all this suspense is really for nothing.

You also get the impression the Wraith are really really stupid. But I do have one question..why didn't McKay just beam out when things were getting bad?

And if we're going to see the flight of the Orion who's gonna do it? Carson? Who's gonna be on his team? Teyla, Lorne and Zalenka...I just thought that was a sort of a hodgepod sort of team.

Doesn't matter if he got them back. He could've aquired new ones. Who knows, he might make his own knives even.

McKay TRIED to beam out. But his code was blocked somehow. Hermoid stated this. He tried to rewrite the code, but the ships went into hyperspace.

Jack could do it! Special guest appearance! Anyway, they could just get the Orion to the Milky Way and then John could stealthily sneak back . I mean, the Wraith can't detect cloaked jumpers.

Concerning the hacking: McKay said he'd hacked their systems, not that he'd hacked into them, meaning he'd somehow sabotaged or rewritten them. So, not so screwed.

They can even use telepathy if there was a "friendly hive" nearby (there probably wasn't, but no hive ship nearby doesn't mean they can't talk to other Wraith).
In Aurora, Teyla said the hives were too far away for them to send/receive information.

We could have easily beamed a nuke onto the hive ship and use the Drone Chair right away to destroy the ship before any Wraith can make an attempt to alert the rest of the Wraith. It would just take a split second.

The part where they escorted the wraith ship too atlantis was very cool! Probably some of the best CGI i've seen in awhile!

Man, a lot of mixed reviews on this one throughout this thread. I can't wait to see it so I can judge for myself. Sounds good though.

Did anyone notice in the credits that it said that the changed to human and then lifesucked by the hive queen ex wraith but turned to human guy (in lab on bed) in Alies was James Lafazanos (He plays all the talking wraith in Atlantis so far ie. Bob, steve, gordon etc, plus he also plays the wraith scientist in Allies!
We finally get to see what he looks like under all that makeup YAY!

Well, since we don't know how far Wraith communication can reach, we'll just have to leave this point alone for now IMHO.

But didn't McKay and Hermie try the whole episode to crack the jamming code?

Also, if the nuke doesn't work, it'll take a few seconds for the drones to get from Atlantis to the hive ship in orbit. They'll have plenty of time to send a message, if only saying "Atlantis still exists" or something.

For all we know all they needed to do was press a button, and message away.

Didnt Rodney say he had hacked into most of there systems? Maybe thats a avenue they'll go down to explain how they get out. Or shut down the hyperdrives

The Jamming Code didn't work. I was pretty sure from the beginning that the Wraith sent them false information to work on. That's why they said the CO2 canister thing was unacceptable. They probably don't have any.
Also, they had 3 weeks from when Atlantis detected to the time they arrived at Atlantis' door to make up Wraith info. A lot can be achieved in 3 weeks.

I hate to admit this but I think episode 20 was crap. The season 1 finale had me completely anticipating season 2 and was one of the best episodes of the entire season. The season 2 finale had me thinking 'gee, I hope next weeks episode is better'. And that's pretty bad for a season finale!

If this were a plain ol' episode I would be less disappointed, but a SEASON FINALE? Terrible.

The wraith did everything they could to earn the trust of Atlantis so they could pull off their plan. If they turned over false information, McKay might have figured it out quickly that they were being lied to. That's also why the wraith made the virus destroy all the information they had sent, it was real stuff they didn't want to leave behind.

I'm thinking they probably handed over the real jamming codes, but had already devised a new counter measure. This new method would only be passed along to hives they are allied with, while exposing enemy hives to nuke attacks from the Daedalus. Thus protecting themselves, and screwing over their rivals.

well i liked this episode and someone said it but when they escorted the dart to atlantis was some great cgi....

I posted a while back about how S2 was no where near as good as the storeis could have been but i was happy with the last two episodes. they were good...not as good as the siege but i enjoyed them.

here is whats going to happen in s3: zelenka will fix the orion, they will go destory the two hive ships with its drones and in the process orion will be destoryed.

but whats the deal with sheppard always being in mortal peril at the end of the seasons?
