*sigh* The lovely Falcon Horus has completed her word count for the season... guess who languishes at the bottom of the list?
McKay 24282
Sheppard 14600
Woolsey 7782
Keller 6723
Teyla 4863
Ronon 3692
Ronon only beat Carson by 124 words, and Carson was just a recurring character in S5
Somebody is counting the characters' words per season??? Now that's true dedication. The result makes you almost glad it's over, doesn't it? Maybe Jason will find a new part where he's utilized according to his abilities.

Not only is Ronon at the bottom of this list, but he's at the bottom by a wide margin and that's disgusting! And, to add insult to injury, Ronon was given so little that although he was in 18 episodes to Carson's 5, they had the same about of dialogue. That means that Jason spent a lot of time doing almost nothing.
No wonder he was talking about leaving after Season 6 and suggested that Ronon to be killed off in the series finale.

*nods* It is just one of many reasons that I'm not as sad at the demise of SGA as I should have been.
Of course there was also the yo-yoing of his character - table manners and salad one minute, tearing lumps of meat apart with his bare hands the next. But always with just a grunt
