Doesn't Carter look surprised when Shep shows up on the bridge. I was too because they had a clean black shirt for him but he had to put on a green pair of BDU trousers.

Love how during their strategy meeting on the bridge, Shep has to lean on the console in front of him. He is still have a gasp to his voice when speaking. Ronon is leaning also, but he does that a lot. Shep usually stands up straight, with hands on hips or crossed in front of him. His face looks uncomfortable too.

Go Carter. She is making sure her team is rescued.

Now she is going to have a chat with Shep.

Keller mentions McKay and Sheppard is stunned to find McKay's alive. Poor boy, he'd honestly thought probably no-one else survived the explosion. The news makes him even more determined and he starts trying to move, even though he's still weak and in pain, telling Keller to patch him up cos he's gotta get back out there.

Keller is stunned, holding him in place with a hand on his shoulder and telling him he's far from fine. He's lost a lot of blood! (Wooot! Oh. Whoops. ) He looks up at her as she lectures him and he's getting that stubborn look on his (handsomely blood-smeared) face. He's already shaking his head and he explains breathlessly that Teyla is on Michael's ship and he's too close to sit and do nothing. His breath catches as he speaks, his voice breaking a little. He's not in a good way, poor Sheppy, but he's determined to help his friends!

Keller is adamant - Sheppard needs surgery. Sheppard is not happy and he tries to sit up, his voice cracking and squeaking as he tries to argue. His face pulls into a grimace as he tenses for a moment and then sags back against the pillow. He *can't* sit up! He's in too much pain, and too weak, and the poor boy can't even sit up on the bed! But he's not going to let that stop him and he still argues desperately, breathlessly, for Keller to give him a quick fix.

She refuses and goes to leave and Sheppard dredges up a reserve of energy and forces himself to sit up, his face twisting in pain, long enough to grab her arm and stop her from leaving. In a rare moment of opennes, he tells Keller that he won't lose another chance to rescue a team member. Keller looks surprised by Sheppard's sincerity and strength of will.

Carter and McKay are surprised to see Sheppard up and about. He's got a fresh shirt and t-shirt and the cuts on his face have been cleaned but he's still wearing his dusty BDUs. He fobs off Carter's enquiry about his health but he can't help holding a hand to his injury and Ronon is regarding him with a knowing look.

But he's got a plan to save Teyla.

Looks like I"m posting in the middle of something so I'll make this brief.

After it seemed like an eternity of waiting for S&R to come on.......the hour flew by!

Caldwell's not thrilled with the idea but Sam insists they have to try to rescue Teyla. The plan is approved but Sam's not fooled by Sheppard's act. He tries to walk off, his hand still held to his side, but she grabs his arm and swings him around. She knows full well he is not in good shape and not fit for duty. But Sheppard is determined and he tells her he is going on this mission, no matter what. He already looks kinda pale and a little sweaty but he's determined to go.

The jumper's in place and Sheppard's in the pilot seat but he's not looking too good. He's pale and a little hunched over and is trying to keep a grimace from his face as he tries to hide the pain from his friends. McKay's giving him a worried look and Ronon gives him a nudge, as if to say, "Go on. You try."

McKay tries to suggest that he and Ronon go alone into the cruiser and Sheppard stay with the jumper but Sheppard just *looks* at him and McKay gives up.

The plan is put into effect - the dart bay opens and Sheppard pilots them inside.. but it looks like it takes a lot out of him and he gasps in relief when they slip through the closing doors.

Carter is concern, rightly so, that Sheppard is going to be a liability on this mission. He can't seem to keep his hand from holding his side. He is haggard looking and a bit stooped. BUT he is determined to go on the mission. He tells her that he has more respect for her than any other commanding officer, BUT it will be his way and he will accept punishment for it....later

Inside the cruiser Sheppard is moving ok but he looks pale and his voice is stil rough and a little breathless. He doesn't move as fast as he usually would.

But they've taken out the guards and found Teyla - but there's a problem! She cries out and collapses and Sheppard crouches down to talk to her. Uhoh. Her water's have broken and baby's on the way!

As the darts and F302s battle it out, Sheppard reaches inside his tac vest and his fingers come out bloody. Uhoh! Looks like his wound is bleeding again! That can't be good! He gives a pained grunt and rises stiffly to his feet, grimacing as he does so. He tells Ronon that he's not up to carrying Teyla. He looks pale and ill, poor boy!

As if things weren't bad enough, McKay tells them that Michael has got the hyperdrive fixed! They need to go blow it up! Sheppard decides he and Ronon will go and they leave Teyla in McKay's rather nervous hands! He tries to empathise with a story about his kidney stones but Teyla is not impressed!

Teyla crushes his hand and tells him the baby is coming right now!

Ronon and Sheppard take out the hybrids in the hyperdrive room and Sheppard goes to plant the C4. But - oh no! As he reaches up he gives a cry of pain and doubles over! Trying to reach up has pulled at his wound and caused him pain and he grimaces and struggles for breath. Ronon tries to take the C4 from him and Sheppard, still hunched over in pain, tries to dodge him, insisting he's got it. Ronon takes no nonsense and takes the C4 from Sheppard, telling him impatiently, "You don't have to do everything!" before planting the explosive himself.

Sheppard is still a little hunched as they head out of there, giving a little huff of pain as they move off. They take out a couple more guards and find a safe spot from which to blow the C4. Sheppard looks pale and ill but the C4 works and the hyperdrive blows... Michael realises the team must be on board.

They made it into the cruiser, by the skin of their teeth Or rather Jumper! I guess Sheppard's response time is off.

Inside they are moving through. Sheppard seems to be a bit slow and stiff and hunched over. When Rodney tells them they don't have much time, Shep is panting a bit.

They found Teyla!! The baby is coming. More trouble for the team. Shep can't carry her. Ronon has to. Let's go!

Can't go! Hyperdrive is starting up. Rodney with Teyla. Ronon with Shep. Rodney's kidney stone story *snerk* Teyla seems to be lacking her typical patience. Hmm, wonder why? I guess imminent childbirth can cause that.

In the hyperdrive room, hybrids easily taken care of. Planting C4 not so much. Shep can't reach up!! Woobie! He did say "GAH, OH" and he crumpled.

Must pause for a moment and rewind ...and rewind.... and rewind.

ARGH!! I missed the group watch of S&R!!! *cries*

Well, guess it will be a solo watch for me then. *sigh*

Teyla's baby is coming and Rodney is panicking! But he sucks it up, bless him, and he catches Teyla's baby and is amazed at himself. Ronon and Sheppard arrive and Sheppard is surprised and breathless. But they've still gotta get out of there!

Ronon picks Teyla up and they head for where they left the jumper but Sheppard's remote control doesn't work! (Love Rodney's "Let me see! What did you do? Did you break it?!" to Sheppard! ) OMG! It's gone! Now what do they do?!!

Rodney and delivery ...enough said! Teyla looks like she is going to slap him silly with the cord!

Hyperdrive blows up. Michael knows they are there.

Baby's here. Watch his head Rodney. She recovered quickly. Shows what being in shape does for you.

John has trouble saying Teyla's we need to get you out of here. His breathing again.

The jumper is gone **blink blink** How'd that happen? What do we do now?
