MCK, LCEB, the network sends out a gazillion copies to local and national reviewers for TV stations and newspapers prior to the beginning of the season. It gives them a chance to watch and write a review, if they so care to, and get it out before the season begins. Sometimes, one or more people copies and gives it to friends, relatives, etc.

With all the various illegal ways to get copies to everyone on the planet, it spreads like wildfire. JM said S&R was not complete in that it had temporary FX, but I wouldn't know. I haven't seen it. Discussing the various means of where to find it and how to DL is very strictly verbotten on GW.

Still feeling quite poorly and was back at Urgent care today. Looks like I may be going to a specialist........... *sigh*

Just checking in and wanted to hi. I've calmed down... a little. I've gone from infuriated and crushed to grumpy and irritable - so I'm pretty much back to normal then.

Actually the leaked copy of S&R was complete it was the copies of Adrift & Lifeline that leaked last year that weren't, JM said it would have been far worse had that happened again. And the leak definitely came from someone in the media who was sent a press pack with a preview copy. In fact last week I saw a link to someone's blog where they had posted pictures of their newly arrived press pack with the DVD in it. Nowadays with a lot of the media being web based the press packs are more likely to go out to people who are fans of the show who unfortunately don't see anything wrong with sharing their good luck with everyone else.

I'll join you on the bored front. I'm also not good with phones atm - or dealing with anything really - and my job at the moment involves making lots of phone calls the thought of which stresses me out so I keep putting it off, which stresses me out even more!

Yep, JM said S and R was complete and finished, in fact it's the only complete eppie so far. So he thought that was better than what happened last year. It does happen a lot now, I gather. Media folks put stuff online for all to see. Is it right? Hell no. It's awful. But I suppose the studios have no choice but to send out the eppies to critics etc....
