A Prank Gone Terribly Wrong
By Shep's Whumpers
WARNING: Some suspension of reality...okay all reality...is required to appreciate this story.
After a particularly slow week in Atlantis, Dr. Rodney McKay was bored. Really bored. So bored, in fact, that not even his gadgets & doohickeys could keep him entertained. In his quest for some stimuli, he approached Dr. Beckett about a prank he wanted to pull.
"So, Carson, here's how it goes...We put a personal ad in The Atlantian and put Major Sheppard's name on it."

Carson is a bit dubious at first, but soon warms to the idea...
However, in creating their ad, instead of putting Maj. Sheppard's full name on the ad, they use his rarely used nickname "Shep" little knowing the chaos their abbreviation would cause.

Because when the first response came to "Shep's" ad, the co-conspirators wondered at Shep's luck when the response came from twins...but not Tau'ri or Athosian twins...but this pair of hotties:

At first, he thought one of the Athosians had brought him a gift, but then he looked closer and noticed a copy of the ad, circled with magic marker.
"What the...? Oh, no! They've got the wrong Shep!"

Shep's popularity spread like wildfire amongst the canine female community, and pretty soon he couldn't go anywhere without being mobbed. It even got to the point where one day, a group learned of Maj. Sheppard's team's off-world mission and went ahead of them to form a "welcome party."
R: "Oh, no...This is wrong on so many levels."
S: "When I find the son of a #$%^& that did this..."
T: "None of those hussies better lay a paw on my man!"
F: "Ooo...That poodle is kinda hot."

Okay, SR & I did this picture the other day on YIM...Please keep in mind that it was drawn with "crayon" using a mouse and have pity on us. It just seemed in keeping with the theme.

Oh, by the way, there is more story to follow...we just got distracted last night by the idea that Ba'al was Shep's father. Now doesn't THAT just spell whumpage?!
