I've met Joe several times (this is the 5th time if I remember correctly). Most of the time he's been the same, so maybe he was having a good day the day you saw him.. About the only time he seemed to be somewhat relaxed was DragonCon last year, and I think part of that was he was so bored that he just wanted someone to talk to. He was doodling all over pics of David he was so bored. Even Brn, who loves John Shepard has mixed feelings about Joe.

I saw him on 3 separate days, and I know the first one he wasn't feeling to well, he said it wasn't a hangover, but Jason said they both were hungover. He was nice and friendly to me each day, several times a day....I stalked him big time!
Mind you he did say he really liked New Zealand, he had been having a good holiday.

well as long as you don't come within the next year, we should even have a spare room....it's not built at present....and it is already booked for about a year and a half's time
as for cooking....as long as you don't want to make those weird Alien dishes, I should have a new stove by then too....we can't take anything from this house to put in the new one, no matter how new it is!
