Tylenol usually helps the pain in my sore throats. It doesn't work for any other pains in my body I've found... but for some reason it does on sore throats. Odd in my opinion.

I can't take anything for a cold beyond natural remedies. I'm so sensitive to meds that one Tylenol will knock me out for four hours! Heaven forbid I need something like antibiotics or Nyquil!

I don't typically ever find need to take more than Advil for anything (not that it always helps, mind you). The only exception I can think of is when I had the kids, and that was only during the actual birthing part. Just haven't really ever been all that sick or broke anything that needed doctoring. Never even had allergy issues till we moved here and even that is typically just an Advil and grin and bear it type issue too. Quite lucky on the health front so far. Grateful for that.

I'm usually the exact same way. I get a cold maybe--MAYBE--once a year, so they knock me on my tail when I do get them. And Excedrin Migraine is the only thing I can take that doesn't knock me out. That's 'cause it has caffeine in it to counteract the other effects of the meds.
