We just paid our first rent today, pro-rated. In two weeks, I have to come up with mortgage AND rent. It's about to get ugly in WW's world... We may have a plan to finagle something, but it's still not the best answer, as we'd be borrowing against our 401K. The teen and his buddy went out to get jobs the other day. They "have a couple of places that want to hire" them at the end of October. So, holiday help, then cut loose in January. If they actually get the job(s).

The girl who worked at the shop I applied at seemed younger than me. And a couple other places seemed to have people younger than me working there.
That's ageist! I'm clearly better.
