Wow...look at the size of this place!

Thanks ~lg... It will be nice to have a little more elbow room.
      Spoiler:
It was kind of spur of the moment to a degree. We'd planned to remodel our basement for more room, but then saw a home we loved that was already on the market and then had to scramble if we wanted it.

I know all about those spur of the moment things.
        Spoiler:
Our house was anything but. We were renting from a guy who, though he'd allow young families into his homes, preferred renting to seniors. As a result, he refused to replace two bathtubs when they broke--both ones in the house--and we wound up living in a bug infested home until our house closed. You can imagine how picky we are about bugs in the house now.

Nah, it's winter, got hours of dark yet, 5 or so!

Bay, didn't know you'd moved! Congrats on selling the old house and buying the new one!

I'm not Bay, but. . . .800 sq feet is only 74.3 sq meters. My house is 93 sq meters. Yours is about 1,560 sq feet. Which, for my area, is a pretty decent sized house.

Okay, going to find coffee since it took entirely too long to type this post!
          Hey LG, Nice Sig
          Wow, now it sounds big!
But all the show homes are so much bigger! I thought ours was on the small size

Now that does sound small, cozy.
Shutting up now before someone hits me.

Thanks, Dell. I've made one other, and I have an idea in mind for a second. But I just. . . .I love the sparkles.

                That sounds terrible, ~lg!

Bugs are not my favorite thing... especially inside. My hubby sprays our home with "home defense" a couple times a year, inside and out, just so I don't have to see the random bug. I highly recommend the stuff... I rarely see spiders anymore...

It is cozy, Dell... and we've enjoyed it actually.

Now I'm having an hankering for some chocolate ice cream... wonder why.

no don't tell me now, I think I need to be fully awake to understand complicated stuff like sparkles.

Well, I have a cat that likes to play with bugs, so she helps. And "home defense" doesn't work here. Our neighbor two houses down has a poorly-maintained pool, so the whole neighborhood has a bug problem.

Wasn't gonna tell you. I used this tut on Shadowplay. Makes the sparkles insanely easy.
