Hello!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Long time no see!!!! 
I've been working 80-90 hour weeks for the past 6 weeks in a row...in fact I left work just to watch this ep and then have to go right back into the office again! It's crazy!! But since I'm here, I'm frantically typing as I watch so I can share a summary for you guys.
Detailed Summary--Kindred Part One:
Opens with Kanan's funeral scene. They comment she did everything she could to try to save him. She is crying, lights the funeral pyre and stands back. Suddenly he starts to move and calls for Teyla to help him. She tries to go back to him as he is engulfed in flames, but John and Carter hold her back, saying it's too late.
Teyla wakes up gasping. It is a nightmare.
Keller and Carter talking a mysterius illness spreading through the galaxy. John and Rodney come in, telling them they just got back from another planet and it's there as well. They estimate about 200,000 could die from this illness.
Teyla sits in mess hall. Rodney brings her a gift. Cute! He's recorded some of his better reflections and theories so she can play them for the baby while still in womb. He notices she is distracted and she confides she had a vision last night. He is skeptical, but she thinks it was more than a dream, that he was telling her not to give up.
Rodney and John walking down the hallway, Rodney telling John about her vision. He wants John to talk to her since they've been missing for so long now. John doesn't want her to give up hope.
Teyla sleeping in bed, has another vision. Sits up in bed in forest, sees Kanan. Goes up to him, shows him her stomach as he smiles tearfully. He gives her a necklace she bought for him and tells her to come find him. She wakes up.
John talks to Carter, tells her about vision, that Teyla wants to go back to the village where she got the necklace from. John is skeptical too, but wants to do it for Teyla. Carter agrees.
Team walking and talking through a field. John is concerned for Teyla and she assures him she'll make straight for the gate if there's danger. She asks at the market about the artisan that made the necklace, but is told he died from the sickness.
Keller tells Carter she figured out the sickness. It's the protein designed by the Hoff, the one that killed half their population to make themselves immune to the wraith. Keller says the sickness is not natural, but mass murder.
John comes up to Teyla and told her there is nothing more to stay for, that they've talked to everyone and no one knows anything. Teyla wants to stay longer, but John says no. They argue a little, she asks if she is questioning her interpretation of the vision or the vision herself. He says she is letting it cloud her judgement and tells the others they are leaving.
Meet with Carter and discuss the sickness/protein being spread on purpose.
Teyla has a third vision of Kanan, she asks him where he is, but he doesn't know. She says she went to the village but found nothing. He tells her to go back. He told out his hand for her and she starts to take it, but wakes up. She was awake this time.
Teyla tells Carter her visions are real. She tells her that Kanan has the same gift that she does, that can sense the wraith. She wonders if that is the cause, even though they've never communicated that way before. Carter says when John gets back from Hoff they can go again, but Teyla says she cannot wait, that Kanan said time was short. She reminds Carter she doesn't need her permission. Carter radios Lorne to go with her. Tells Teyla to call her Sam.
On the planet of Hoff, John and Rodney are looking around in different places talking over the radio, but it's been mostly destroyed. Rodney hears a noise and finds a group of people who run away from him. He stops one who is a teenage boy and asks him what's going on. The boy says they are just scavengers and runs off. John is wearing his awesome sunglasses in this ep by the way. LOVE those glasses! Not the yellow ones, but the aviator style ones.
Teyla and Lorne and his team walk around the village again where she bought the necklace and where Kanan told her to go back to. She suddenly grabs her knife and holds it up to the throat of a trader. He has Kanan's necklace. He says he got it from another trader. She asks what else he got from the trader. He shows her a box and it's full of Athosian stuff that she recognizes from her people. He tells her the trader is supposed to come by that day.
John and Rodney return, talk to Carter. She tells them the wraith are hailing them. It's Todd. John and Rodney have to turn right around again and go back through the gate within a few seconds of coming back. Don't know about Teyla yet.
Teyla and Lorne watching the trader. Lorne approaches and asks him where he got it. He runs, but Teyla knocks him out with a big stick. Trader is tied up. Lorne wakes him up with a bucket of water and interrogate him. He refuses to talk. Teyla comes out of hte shadows. She uses the stick to knock him over and threatens him. He tells them he found the stuff at an off world dumping ground. He said he dug up what he thought was a grave, but found the stuff. Teyla demands he take them there and show them.
John, Ronon, and Rodney walking on wraith ship, find dead wraith and Todd. Todd tells them the other wraith were poisoned.
Lorne, Teyla and group walking, dart suddenly appears, the trader pushes Teyla into the beam and they are both beamed up.
Todd asks them about the sickness. John tells them they suspected him. He had suspected them. He tells them all the wraith factions are being affected by it and are running low on food with all the human deaths. He tells them he needs their health. He asks them for their research on the Hoffen drug that is causing the sickness. They tell him they aren't eager to help him because of what happened on earth. He tells them he had nothing to do with it, the info was stolen from him. He offers a bargain. And says by process of elimination of neither them or the wraith are responsible, there can be only one.
Teyla is on another wraith hive in a cell. Michael walks up to her.
