Ok I think Ruby mentioned this but a) the last pic on JM blog has the Atlantis corridor completely filled with sand b) it has regular JF and Old Rodney in the same scene which leans towards the "Shep going into the future" scenario whereas Rodney would be "The Last Man". This is.....interesting

So when Shep and Teyla are in their respective quarters all thoughtful like at the end of the ep, is it a great scene or what? Cuz those caps are just awesome

I loved JM's response! He's my hero! And yeah, I just look at what's at hand and actually deal with reality. As for the jump on R/K ( I know you didn't really mean R/T!) I did read an advance spoiler from Brad Wright I think saying she would have a love interest amongst the main cast. My brilliant mind did the rest! I just LOVE it!

That's hilarious the tattle-tellers show up to rat on you every time you post. For the record, I do remember, was it Brad or RCC, saying that they planned a little romance for Keller, so why is anyone suprised? How is that or what JS said 'inside information'? For that matter, how are educated guesses or thinking characterization through inside information? That's all I've ever seen here. I dunno how it'll play out, but if we get flirtatious moments from R/K or J/T, well, why not? just because it's not what one faction of fandom wants doesn't mean it doesn't make sense to the writers, or other parts of fandom.

I cannot believe that ship is such a point of contention. I mean, of the vast majority of show I watch, be they drama, scifi, or comedy, there is always, always, always some implied or outright romance or UST. The fact that people spew vitriol or condecendence over it bemuses me.

And Steph, please don't take responsibility for something you didn't do. There have been many instances where some supporter of X ship comes into the episode thread and says, "OMG X ship rules!!!!" Imo, the episode theads are a place to express your thoughts about whatever element of the ep you wish to, and if characters' relationships is a part of that, why hide it? I just cannot fathom why it's such a bone of contention. GW is just extra touchy about ship, but that's the other posters' problem isn't it?

When they are in there quarters, Sam is announcing the loss of Heightmeyer. And reassuring the rest of Atlantis that they are doing all the can find a way to keep them from getting hurt from the entity(something like that) John and Teyla are both said. It's right before the hug scene.
