Okay, "Conversion". I'll put this little bit in spoiler notation, but it doesn't give much away about the plot. Just to be safe:

The "look" occurs after Sheppard escapes from his guarded room, and Weir is dispatching teams to look for him and bring him back. Caldwell orders them to use whatever force is necessary. All of the other team members leave to form groups, and Teyla just stands there looking horrified at having to possibly shoot Sheppard if she finds him. Ronon asks her if she's coming, and she looks from him to Weir and pauses. The two of the women share this long look -- Weir kind of gives her a little smile like "It's going to be okay", and Teyla nods and goes off with Ronon. It was very simple and well-done, like Teyla was drawing strength from her connection with Weir. Excellent stuff.

And you haven't seen "Conversion" yet!?! You really need to get on top of that -- it was soooo good!

OOppss...saw this after I posted...thanks for the explanation of that "look" it was so brief and we don't get to see Teyla's look but more Weir's looking back at her...I don't remember exactly...All I do know is that I couldn't quite get it....what you wrote makes sense...thanks...SnoggingPicard....you are good at this!

Math is evil...just haven't quite got the grasp of it. I just started a couple of new classes and I had to take a math placement test. Uh, didn't fair well. How was your test Camy?

I'm glad you could make sense of that...I don't know why that was such a great moment, but it was beautifully done. And I've been looking at your pictures -- Oh Shep/Teyla prettiness! Makes me feel a warm and fuzzy inside.

I think it's the end scene that does it for me. Watch the look that Shep gives her when he first comes into the gym and the one he has right before he mentions the kiss (after he shows her his arm). So freakin' cute! I'm sorry, but I do not look at my platonic male friends like that, and they don't give me that kind of face either. Something is definitely there!

I don't want to bash other 'ships, but I just don't see this kind of interaction happening as much between their characters. I see a lot of wonderful scenes between Shep and Weir or Ronon and Teyla, but I still have a feeling about Shep/Teyla. Call me stubborn, but that pairing really just does something for me. Have no idea why.

Thanks....I would just suggest that you change the "Sheyla"....I just recently read that this also refers to a stripper or something like that and some people really hate it...I just laughed histerically when I read that....I didn't know....but anyways, just a suggestion....

LOL, I had no idea myself! I'll be sure to use different wording on the next one. I'm not very good at coming up with catchy phrases and whatnot, which is why I try to keep it simple.

Yup, Yup, Yup....thanks for reminding me...that is what I read somewhere as well....Haven't cared to try it though...Again...I used to write it as well.....but then stopped since I certainly don't want to associate my favorite pairing with such a thing...but, it's everyone's own choice...It doesn't matter to me..I just decided not to use it anymore...
