And because someone said my work sounded "a bit dry" (CINDY...), i thought i should correct that notion . Here's a test shot for a little project i took an hour or so to work on this weekend. For those of you who don't know, i'm a CGI Artist and Graphic Designer by trait. So, from scratch we have my interpretation of New Lantea (in the very early test stages), whether it will keep that name i haven't yet decided...

Err, since Homeland Security is a U.S. Department, i'm assuming it was a U.S. deal. David is a U.S. citizen isn't he?

I dunno...we know David's lived in the US for quite a few years...maybe he's only got a visa or something, cos he's still legally both Canadian and English.

here's what we know:

He spent the first 4 years of his life in England
The he moved to Canada, but his family split time between Toronto and Surrey, England
When he was married he and his ex wife moved to LA (this was about 6 years ago)
He moved to Washington about 3 years ago

I reckon he's probably got dual Canadian/English citizenship, but an extended work permit/visa for the US

Either that or Jane can't legally live in Canada hence the Washington location.

He would have been eligable to become a U.S. citizen after being a Permanent Resident (aka Green Card: Visa Status meaning one can live indefinately in the U.S., which David would obviously have had) for 4 years and 275 Days. Meaning all he would have had to have done was take the citizenship exam at that point and pass. So it's entirely possible he's a dual U.S. and Canadian citizen. I'd say likely he is.

Yes you can. But Duel Citizenship is still more common and not surprisingly most countries prefer that then having three or four. Some countries won't even allow duel citizenship, and others restrict which countries, especially (mostly) for political reasons. Some countries will not allow you to retain your birth countries citizenship if you take up another, you lose it by default.

And where did you read or hear he was 4 when he left England? I only heard he was young and I am sure he was still in England when he said he use to watch Doctor Who, unless he was in Canada also a country with good taste who screened Doctor Who in the seventies. And the stuff about his passport *inquiring minds want to know*

Err as was discussed, yea you can, but not everywhere. However the U.K., U.S., and Canada are all buddy buddy, so in that instance it can be done.
