Me too! squee! I'm hoping he will be at the Vancouver con in 2007. I know he is probably working on his new film now but hopefully that will be done by then and will have more time for cons.

Glad the job is going well. It can be a little daunting starting in a new place. This seems to be the week for new jobs - my sister just got a new job and she has been looking for ages. I'm so happy for her!

Oh the new place doesn't worry me, this is more a filler job until I can figure out what I want to do with the rest of my life! Yeah nothing big or anything... Congrats to your sis.

I would love to see both David and Joe at a con but alas I think I missed my chance for seeing David and Joe last year, well David... Joe *apparently* cancelled his appearance, who knows when that opportunity will present itself again...miracles do happen I suppose. *going away to cry now*

Well Willow I am not going to Vancouver 2007 but if DH doesn't go to P2 I shall have to think seriously about going to Vancouver in 2008. Trouble is the tickets cost a fortune (I would want the gold one) and what with the flight and hotel - sheesh I need to start saving now!!

i went for 2 weeks and with everything, flight, con, hotel, con extras, insurance, photos etc it cost about £1300 plus spending money YIKES and stoopidly im doing it again this year *smacks forehead*

Yeah, me too! I'd love to meet him so much! It's a big dream, and by know I also don't fear the language barrier that much anymore. But I guess meeting him will never happen.

Yay for the new pics!!!!!!!!!!

Arlessiar we are still planning where to go for our holiday - although it does look more like the south where the mountains are and maybe Austria too! Hubbie loves the mountains (Vancouver has mountains!!!! )

If I win the lottery I shall buy us all gold tickets to Vancouver 2007 and pay for all the air travel too! We shall have a suite of rooms at the best hotel and if there are any auctions for walk on parts I shall bid the highest on the condition that we all get a part in an ep!!!!

Dreams are goood! And actually your little dream is very fascinating, because I really thought of something similar a while ago! I thought that if I had lots of money I'd love to organise a meeting of DH fans from all over the world, I could pay for the flights and for the hotel, and we could have a big fan meeting! I didn't think of the walk-on, Mx, but that is a very nice idea!

Sorry to divert to my "topic" again but I just wanted to say that I understand the need to promote a strong family unit and that's a wonderful thing that I support fully. A family unit of parents and children should be supported and promoted. That being said, there has to be someway to provide the same legal rights that a hetrosexual couple has. There's the arguement that if homosexual marriage is allowed then multiple marriages or marriages to aminals must be allowed too. I don't think it should be allowed but it's a gut feeling as opposed to the rational apporach, IMHO, I've taken with homosexual marriage.
